In Thursday's league game, the visiting Nation Ford Falcons volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Catawba Ridge Copperheads.

Next up, the Falcons face the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 10. Nation Ford will attempt to advance on its 26-6 season record. The Battling Bishops go into the game with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Beaufort (Beaufort, SC).

The Copperheads (17-9) will now prepare for their game against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 29-5 record. In their last game, First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest edged Varsity Opponent (, ), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
