Next up, the Indians confront the Athens Bible Trojans (Athens, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 16. Cherokee will attempt to advance on its 4-23 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 19-23 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Falkville (Falkville, AL).

The Bulldogs (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Tharptown (Russellville, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Tharptown was edged by Wilson (Florence, AL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
