The Chippewa Valley Big Reds volleyball team scored 1 points and restricted the visiting Port Huron Northern Huskies to 0 in the Big Reds league triumph on Thursday.

The Big Reds now have a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Clair for a Macomb Area - Blue outing on Wednesday, October 15. Chippewa Valley will play a Saints team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Saints record now stands at 2-17.

With the loss, Port Huron Northern drops to 23-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI) to play the Lancers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 15. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 8-11. L'Anse Creuse won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI)
