Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) and the visiting Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), saw College Prep & Leadership Academy's volleyball squad notch a victory over Dudley by a score of 3-1.

With the win, College Prep & Leadership Academy improves its record to 5-16 on the season.

The Panthers now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Page for a Metro 6A/7A battle on Monday, October 13. Dudley will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 13-7.
