The South Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Del Oro Suns to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now possess a 7-18 record. They play next when they host East Bakersfield for a South Yosemite Mountain outing on Monday, October 13. South will confront a Blades squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA). The Blades record now stands at 13-8.
The Suns (1-18) will now prepare for their game against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears enter the South Yosemite Horizon game with a 22-8 record. In their last game, Arvin gained a win over North (Bakersfield, CA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
