The El Cajon Valley Braves volleyball squad (El Cajon, CA), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA)

The Matadors (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars enter the Grossmont Valley challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Steele Canyon was beaten by Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves meet the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont Valley test, on Tuesday, October 14. El Cajon Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Foothillers go into the test with a 18-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).
