South Carolina High School Volleyball - Emerald can't hold off Fountain Inn

October 9, 2025: Fountain Inn, SC 29644

In Thursday's league match, the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) volleyball team held off the visiting Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Fury now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a AAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 14. Fountain Inn will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Emerald drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Vikings host Laurens (Laurens, SC) to clash with the Raiders in a AAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Laurens lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Westside (Anderson, SC)
