The Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) volleyball held off the host Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Rustlers now possess a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon for a non-league match on Monday, October 20. Ethan will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 15-10.
The Beavers (8-16) will now prepare for their match against Menno (Menno, SD). The Wolves enter the non-league match with a 3-23 record. In their last match, Menno was tipped by Avon (Avon, SD), 3-0, in a non-league match.
