Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview over Findlay

 The Northview Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Findlay Trojans to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Defiance for a non-league match on Saturday, October 11. Northview will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-13.
The Trojans (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Clay (Oregon, OH). The Eagles enter the Northern Lakes match with a 15-6 record. In their last match, Clay gained a win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH), 3-0, in a league bout.
  
    
                           
 
	
	
					
	Match Summary
FINDLAY - As Northern Lakes League play wraps up for the 2025 season, Northview traveled to Findlay for the finally NLL match of the season and it was a commanding win for the Cats in straight sets to move to 12-8 overall, 8-6 in the NLL, 4-4 in the Buckeye division. 
Leading for the Cats was sophomore libero, Jade Hagan, with 16 points won on serving alone, a 72.7% point scoring percentage, while recording a team-high 3 aces, passing a 2.25 and recording 8 digs. Offensively, the Cats were lead by senior outside hitter, Talia Twigg with a team-high 11 kills, hitting .280, while adding 5 digs and passing a 2.27 and sophomore middle blocker, Reese Holmes with 7 kills, hitting .308. The Cats received 4 kills a piece from senior Bri Langenderder, junior Frankie Ramsdell-Washington and freshman Lilly Smith. Ramsdell-Washington recorded 5 blocks, while junior setter Alayna Sauer was able to dish out 31 assists. 
The Cats travel to Defiance on Saturday.
