In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mott-Regent Wildfire.

The Bearcats (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last test, North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] was defeated by Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND), 3-0, in a league test.

The Wildfire now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hettinger/Scranton for a B - Region 7 test on Tuesday, October 14. Mott-Regent will face a Black Devils squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Belfield (Belfield, ND). The Black Devils record now stands at 2-11.
