Virginia High School Volleyball - Highland bounced by Parry McCluer

Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Highland Rams (Monterey, VA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Fighting Blues (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers come into the Pioneer challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Bath County was beaten by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Pendleton County Wildcat (Franklin, WV) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 13. Highland will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcat go into the test with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tucker County (Hambleton, WV).
