The Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Jersey Village Falcons (Houston, TX), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 20-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cy-Fair for a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, October 14. Stratford will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-17.

The Falcons (21-17) will now prepare for their match against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region III District 17 match with a 13-25 record. In their last match, Cypress Falls notched a victory over Northbrook (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league match.
