The Laker Lakers prevailed the host Vassar Vulcans volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Durand for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Laker will clash with a Railroaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakeville (Otisville, MI). The Railroaders record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Vassar drops to 12-15 on the campaign. The Vulcans travel to Cass City (Cass City, MI) to clash with the Red Hawks in a Greater Thumb - West bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a record of 14-7. Cass City won 3-2 in their recent league match against Reese (Reese, MI)
