In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Maranatha Christian Academy Knights.

The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Falcons enter the West Virginia Christian challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Summit Christian Academy was defeated by Mount Hope Christian Academy (Mount Hope, WV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pipestem Christian Academy for a West Virginia Christian test on Thursday, October 16. Maranatha Christian Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Ballard Christian (Ballard, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
