In Thursday's league challenge, the host Paramount Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lynwood Knights.

The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons come into the Suburban challenge with a 20-10 record. In their last challenge, Firebaugh lost by Gahr (Cerritos, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) in a Suburban test, on Tuesday, October 14. Lynwood will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 4-22 record after their 3-0 league win over Dominguez (Compton, CA).
