The Malad Dragons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Soda Springs Cardinals to 0 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.
The Dragons now have a 21-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sugar-Salem for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Malad will play a Diggers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Teton (Driggs, ID). The Diggers record now stands at 13-13.
With the loss, Soda Springs drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID) to confront the Tigers in a 3A South East Idaho game on Wednesday, October 15. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-14. Aberdeen lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Declo (Declo, ID)
