The West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) volleyball knocked off the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chester for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. West Central will clash with a Flyers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 23-1.

With the loss, McCook Central/Montrose drops to 9-12 on the campaign. The Fighting cougars travel to Garretson (Garretson, SD) to clash with the Blue Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Blue Dragons come into the bout with a record of 3-17.
