The Moundridge Wildcats topped the host Sterling Black Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Wildcats now possess a 32-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a Heart of America outing on Tuesday, October 14. Moundridge will clash with a Celtics team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Salina, KS). The Celtics record now stands at 2-23.

With the loss, Sterling drops to 14-15 on the campaign. The Black bears travel to Bennington (Bennington, KS) to battle the Bulldogs in a Heart of America match on Tuesday, October 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 28-7. Bennington won 2-0 in their recent league match against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS)
