The Northumberland Indians volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Rappahannock Raiders to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a Northern Neck outing on Tuesday, October 14. Northumberland will play a Red Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Rappahannock drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Northern Neck bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Essex lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Westmoreland (Montross, VA)
