Illinois High School Volleyball - Reed-Custer Peotone

The Peotone Blue Devils topped the visiting Reed-Custer Comets volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Blue Devils now possess a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Coal City for a Illinois Central Eight outing on Tuesday, October 14. Peotone will play a Coalers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 14-13.

With the defeat, Reed-Custer falls to 3-24 on the campaign. The Comets host Herscher (Herscher, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a Illinois Central Eight bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-24. Herscher lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL)
