The Point Arena Pirates topped the visiting Potter Valley Bearcats volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Pirates now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tomales for a North Central III outing on Tuesday, October 14. Point Arena will play a Braves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Round Valley (Covelo, CA). The Braves record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Potter Valley drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Grace Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Lions in a North Central III outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 2-8. Grace Christian Academy lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Laytonville (Laytonville, CA)
