The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS) volleyball held off the visiting Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Cyclones now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe Trail for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 11. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will battle a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 20-9.
