Louisiana High School Basketball - Phoenix can't hold off Maurepas

The Maurepas Wolves basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Phoenix Spartans to 49 in the Wolves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 5. Maurepas will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-20 non-league win over Central (Jonesville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Holden was nudged by Hicks (Leesville, LA), 66-35, in a non-league contest.
