In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Piedra Vista Panthers.
The Matadors (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs come into the battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, West Mesa lost by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league battle, on Friday, November 4. Piedra Vista will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Scorpions come into the battle with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
