York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dukes confront the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 4. York will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 27-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
The Maroons now possess a 20-1 record.
