The Mountainair Mustangs volleyball team (Mountainair, NM), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM)

The (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Cougars come into the 1A District 3 challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Alamo Navajo defeated Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, November 3. Mountainair will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
