The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) and the visiting St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA), saw East Ascension's volleyball squad beat St. Joseph's Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, East Ascension upgrades its record to 26-17 on the year. The Spartans travel to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 4. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 32-9. Mt. Carmel won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA)

The Redstickers now own a 18-20 record.
