Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 36-33 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Shabazz advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westwood (Washington Township, NJ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, November 8. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Westwood won 36-14 in their recent non-league battle against Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ)
The Chiefs now own a 4-5 record.
