Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) followers went home pleased Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT), 35-12 in a league match.
The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Titans come into the Central Connecticut - Tier 1 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Hall was beaten by Southington (Southington, CT), 41-35, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Red Hawks confront the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 battle, on Friday, November 8. Manchester will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Knights go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 41-35 league win over Hall (West Hartford, CT).
