The Ponaganset Chieftains felled the visiting Pilgrim Patriots football team by a score of 40-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 28. Ponaganset will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 28-0 league win over Central (Providence, RI).

The Patriots (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Toll Gate lost by Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout (West Greenwich, RI), 51-24, in a league challenge.
