The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), witnessed West Anchorage's ice hockey team defeat Service by a score of 4-2.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines come into the Cook Inlet challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, South Anchorage by Wasilla (Wasilla, AK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a Cook Inlet challenge, on Wednesday, November 6. Service will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK).
