In Friday's league challenge, the host Tikigaq Harpooners volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Alak Huskies.

The Harpooners (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kali (Point Lay, AK). The Wolverines enter the Mix 6 North Slope challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Kali was beaten by Nunamiut (Anaktuvik Pass, AK), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Kali Wolverines (Point Lay, AK) in a Mix 6 North Slope challenge, on Friday, November 1. Alak will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Nunamiut (Anaktuvik Pass, AK).
