Fans at Friday's league contest between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the host Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), observed Des Moines's volleyball team top Wagon Mound by a tally of 3-0.

The Demons (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue/Lady Blue enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Roy/Mosquero beat Springer (Springer, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trojans meet the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) in a 1A District 5 contest, on Monday, November 4. Wagon Mound will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 8-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM).
