In Saturday's league challenge, the host Clayton Yellowjackets volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Pecos Panthers.

With the win, Clayton advances its record to 9-12 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to face the Rattlers in a 2A District 6 test on Thursday, November 6. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 10-11.

The Panthers now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Rosa for a 2A District 6 outing on Tuesday, November 4. Pecos will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Estancia (Estancia, NM). The Lions record now stands at 10-11.
