Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), observed St. Michael's volleyball team hold off Northlake Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Warriors (33-2) will now prepare for their contest against Franklinton (Franklinton, LA). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Franklinton got by Independence (Independence, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolverines meet the North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, November 5. Northlake Christian will attempt to improve on its 24-14 season record. The Titans go into the battle with a 10-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA).
