The Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) basketball nipped the host West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS), 66-61 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Ethel (Ethel, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leake County for a non-league test on Saturday, November 12.
