The Bruce Trojans basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Water Valley Blue Devils to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Pontotoc for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Bruce will meet a Cougars team coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
