The Stafford Spartans basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Danbury Panthers to 38 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 10. Stafford will battle a Roughnecks team coming off a 42-33 non-league win over Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 2-0.
The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Needville (Needville, TX). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
