The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Lakeview Centennial Patriots to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haltom for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 11. McKinney will battle a Buffalos team coming off a 73-63 non-league win over Bell (Hurst, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 1-0.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Richardson was routed by John Paul II (Plano, TX), 87-81, in a non-league contest.
