Maryland High School Football - Loyola Blakefield felled by Archbishop Spalding

November 10, 2023: Severn, MD 21144

The Loyola Blakefield Dons football team (Towson, MD), was knocked off 28-10 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD)

The Cavaliers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, McDonogh knocked off Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD), 30-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Dons now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a MIAA A challenge on Thursday, November 23. Loyola Blakefield will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 42-7 league win over Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-6.
