The Grain Valley Eagles held off the visiting Platte County Pirates football team by a count of 27-25 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Grain Valley upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Webb City (Webb City, MO) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, November 17. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 9-2. Webb City won 42-7 in their recent non-league outing against Carthage (Carthage, MO)
With the loss, Platte County moves to 9-3 on the season.
