The South Gwinnett Comets nipped the visiting Rockdale County Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 61-57 in Monday's non-league game.

The Comets now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 12.

With the loss, Rockdale County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Eastside (Covington, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, November 15. The Eagles enter the outing with a record of 0-0.
