The McComb Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Amite County Trojans to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jim Hill for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 15. McComb will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Natchez ran past Jim Hill (Jackson, MS), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
