New Mexico High School Football - Cobre held off by Socorro

Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM), 21-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Socorro improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Horsemen in a non-league test on Friday, November 18. The Horsemen come into the test with a record of 10-1. St. Michael's won 50-0 in their recent non-league test against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM)

With the loss, Cobre drops to 5-7 on the campaign.
