The Tornillo Coyotes basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Bowie Bears to 13 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Coyotes now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bel Air for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 12. Tornillo will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 39-15 non-league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-2.
The Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Parkland was outscored by Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 39-15, in a non-league contest.
