Georgia High School Basketball - Drew holds off Elite Scholars Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Drew (Riverdale, GA) and the visiting Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA), saw Drew's basketball squad hold off Elite Scholars Academy by a tally of 18-16.
With the victory, Drew improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The host Osborne (Marietta, GA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Royal Knights confront the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 12. Elite Scholars Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA).
First Quarter
Nerves got the best of the Lady Titans which resulted in several turnovers. After a timeout and a refocus, the Lady Titans started to show progress with several defensive stops.
Second Quarter
The Lady Titans rallied back and tied the score at one point however, they still needed to play sound defense against a skilled Elite Scholar Team
Third Quarter
Coming out of Halftime, the Lady Titans buckled down and scored, taking the lead in what ended up being a very low scored.
Fourth Quarter
The Lady Titans took the lead and finished the game strong.
