Texas High School Basketball - Stevens overwhelms Vela

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stevens Falcons (San Antonio, TX) and the host Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), saw Stevens's basketball squad wallop Vela by a count of 83-53.

With the victory, Stevens upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Harlan (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 12. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Harlan won 61-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Sabercats play the Antonian Prep Apaches (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 12. Vela will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Apaches come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 61-26 non-league loss to Harlan (San Antonio, TX).
