In Saturday's non-league game, the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA) football team were victorious over the visiting Old Colony RVT Cougars (Rochester, MA), by a score of 24-14.
The Hurricanes (11-0) will now prepare for their game against Carver (Carver, MA). The Crusaders come into the non-league game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Carver knocked off KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (Lynn, MA), 49-27, in a non-league game.
The Cougars now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-County RVT for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 22.
