Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), 41-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Slaton upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Petersburg (Petersburg, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a record of 3-0.
