Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Quakers face the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Quaker Valley will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 21-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over General McLane (Edinboro, PA).

The Bulldogs now have a 10-6 record.
